AJTcx CxA insight
What should a commissioning report include?
A commissioning report should provide a useful, defensible record of the scope, evidence reviewed, tests performed, findings, resolved issues, open items, and handover observations.

Summarize the work clearly
The report should explain the project and systems in scope, the commissioning activities completed, and any material limits on what could be reviewed or tested.
Make findings actionable
Issue records are most useful when they state the condition, related requirement, responsible party, status, priority, and the evidence used to show resolution.
Leave an operational record
The final report should help the owner and operator understand the state of the systems at closeout, the documentation available, the training observations, and any deferred or seasonal testing still to be completed.
